30-Hour Famine

The 30-Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger. It will bring our friends, family, and congregation closer together, feed hungry children, and change our world forever.

Even without eating food, you can have fun and help feed and equip hungry kids in other places by raising money through World Vision's 30-Hour Famine. Learn more by clicking here clicking here. Before the event, ask people to pledge their financial support and then, at the event, gather with other teens from St. John and other churches for fun activities, service opportunities, learning moments, and worship. Check out GenXaret, which will have more details as we approach this event, since we meet at GenXaret for part of the Famine. GenXaret is a place for an awesome opportunity to meet with other Christians in a fun environment and enjoy events like concerts, drama, movies, worship, and fellowship in a giant empty pool and cool arcade games.

Kids, just like you, are seeing their friends and families die from hunger - 29,000 every day, gone for good. They’re counting on you to care. Do you care? I know your own life is busy, but do you have room to care for someone else as well? If so, you should Fast for Food.
