What we pray is what we believe. Prayer, action and belief are intrinsically linked. How we worship should reflect what we say we believe, and then how we ultimately live our lives.
We are a Lutheran community committed to creating a discipling culture as we live out an orthodox faith in line with Lutheran teaching.
We are a church on a mission to see lives transformed by the Good News of the Gospel through following God, sharing life, and loving neighbor.
Our Lutheran Heritage
Although we acknowledge that other church affiliations and denominations are valid expressions of the Christian faith, we choose to believe teach and confess our faith as handed down to us by the ancestors who felt called to plant this church.
5-Fold Ministry of Ephesians 4
We believe that all of God’s people have been given as a gift to the Church to function in one of the ascension gifting as outlined in Ephesians 4:11-13. As a Church we look to help all discover and develop their gifting and then be deployed in ministry.
Building a Discipling Culture
We accept that there are many ways in which discipleship is taught and practiced, however, we committed to a model which is both organized and organic, gathered and scattered, and which focuses of every member ministry.
LCMC is not a denomination but a movement where the local church is viewed as a place where people in the community come to get connected with God and one another.
Together we celebrate the fact that everyone is wired a little differently which allows each of us to serve according to our own unique strengths, skills and talents.
