The mission of the Prayer Ministry Team at St. John is commitment to spending a designated part of each day in quiet time with God, including prayer that supports the pastors, staff, people and ministries of St. John.

Currently there are these main groups, with others in the planning stages:

• The Email Prayer Team receives the prayer cards from Sunday Worship along with other prayer requests, and these concerns are held in prayer daily. All members must abide by a Confidentiality Agreement.
  
  
• The Shoulder to Shoulder Team prays specifically for the needs of the clergy, staff, and ministry leaders at St. John. Daily each person is held in prayer, and specific requests may be received as well.
  
  
• Each member of the Brothers and Sisters Team is given a section of the church directory. Over the course of every week, each person and family is prayed for at least once. It is our goal to expand this ministry so that every person is held in prayer daily.
